thanks ladies! i LOVE it! it's been a very empowering, waist shrinking, positive experience :) the women i skate with are amazing, the sport is fantastic and it's really not so very rough . . . though i did fall on my tailbone last night. ouch! i guess the risk of injury is about the same as any other contact sport - we do wear lots of safety and protective gear :)
Holy coolness!! I have always wanted to go see Roller Derby girls. I went to a crop ( scrapping) and met one of them from here in Columbus, Ohio. I still have not made it to one.
